Stuck on Level 138 of Tucker Snack Attack? Don’t worry—you’re not alone! This challenging level is all about smart strategy and knowing when to use Tucker and Todd’s powers. Here’s a guide to help you make it through without losing all your moves (or your patience!).

The goal of this stage is simple: you just need to spread mud to every square on the game board. Mud spreads by making matches with treats that already have mud, which then spreads to each square that contains the treats matched with it.

Clear the Yellow Jellies First

Yellow jellies multiply with every move, replacing one treat per turn. They also block other treats from matching, which can make the level more challenging. Focus on clearing all yellow jellies early; once they’re gone, they won’t reappear, letting you plan matches without interruptions.

Prioritize Tucker and Todd’s Power-Ups

This level makes great use of Tucker and Todd’s unique powers, so it’s important to understand how they work and when to use them. Here’s a breakdown:

  1. Tucker’s Power: Activates Linda’s golf cart, which clears treats from right to left. This is perfect for spreading mud in hard-to-reach corners on the left side.
  2. Todd’s Power: Creates explosions on the targeted treat and treats around it (up, down, left, right). This is especially useful for spreading mud in tough spots on the right side.

To make the most of these powers, charge up their power meters by matching chimken drumsticks🍗 and red meat 🥩. Try to use Tucker’s power on the left corner and Todd’s power on the right, so mud spreads where you need it most. Just make sure the target treats for Tucker and Todd’s powers have mud on them and that any rocks blocking the corners have been cleared first.

Use Horizontal Destroyers

How to Make Horizontal Destroyers: Match four identical treats in a vertical line to create a horizontal destroyer.

Why Horizontal Destroyers Are Helpful: Horizontal destroyers aren’t just for breaking rocks—they can also spread mud into those hard-to-reach corners if there are no more rocks blocking the way. This makes them a great tool for clearing obstacles and spreading mud to places that are hard to reach by simple matching. Save them for key moments when you need a clear shot at those tricky spots.

Make Strategic Matches and Plan Ahead

Pro Tip: Always keep an eye on the entire board to spot the best matches. Plan a few moves ahead to predict where treats might fall, and prioritize moves that help you charge Tucker and Todd’s power meters or create horizontal destroyers. Smart planning is the key to filling those power meters quickly and avoiding wasted moves.

Should You Use a Map or Stage Booster?

While Level 138 can definitely be completed without boosters (as we demonstrate in the video below), this might be one of those stages where a booster can help if you’re finding it especially tough. If you have a booster saved up, you may consider using it here, but only if you’re okay with not saving it for an even harder level!
